01Marker Lists & Organization

Build, categorize, tag, sort, and organize marker sheets inside one project.

  • Edit marker timing, names, comments, notes, track destinations, snapshots, and Pro Tools properties. Undo and redo marker edits within OverMarker.
  • Organize markers with categories, multiple tags, and category-based Pro Tools colors.
  • Create, rename, reorder, and navigate multiple marker-list tabs, then import into a new tab or merge into the current one.
  • Sort by session order, marker name, Pro Tools track, or time, with collapsible track groups.
  • Track done cues, completed takes, remaining duration, and selected duration.
02Search & Filter

Filter markers by text, category, tag, or track.

  • Stack filters across marker text, categories, tags, and track destinations.
  • Group markers by category and reuse saved categories and tags across projects.

  • Create markers from scripts using fixed seconds per line or timing calculated from dialogue length.
  • Extract PDF text with OCR when needed, then review imported markers before creating them in Pro Tools.
04Stays in Sync with Pro Tools

Send marker lists to Pro Tools or capture them from your session.

  • Navigate Pro Tools by selecting an OverMarker marker, with optional marker offset, range selection, and Edit-window scrolling.
  • Create, replace, or capture complete marker lists while preserving track-marker destinations.
  • Move an OverMarker marker to the current Pro Tools playhead or add its matching Pro Tools marker automatically.
  • Choose a global memory-location marker or an eligible track marker.
05Snapshots & Memory-Location Properties

Recall track, edit, and Pro Tools memory-location state with each marker.

  • Store and recall a different Pro Tools snapshot with each marker.
  • Choose which states to capture: Mutes, Solos, Hidden, Inactive, Record Enables, Input Monitor, Frozen, PT Folder Open, Edit Mode, and Edit Tool.
  • Preserve Zoom Settings, Pre/Post Roll Times, Track Visibility, Track Heights, Group Enables, and Window Configuration.
06Auto Record Track Renaming

Name record tracks and clips from the selected marker, then track completed takes.

  • Capture one or more selected Pro Tools record tracks and choose a main record track.
  • Rename captured record tracks from the selected marker, or use a shortcut to rename selected Pro Tools clips.
  • Count completed takes, mark cues Done, hide finished cues, and track remaining and selected time.
